Taffeta is a type of fabric which was historically made from silk. but today it can be made from many different fibers, including polyester fibers like nylon.

Taffeta is a soft fabric with plain construction. polyester taffeta and nylon taffeta are the most popular fabric as liner or shell fabric in the past few years.  Because of the characters like soft, high density and fine tear strength. it is used widely as liner for cloth, bag, and down colth.
